Stonetramp Beadwork is a home studio in Redding, California started in 2007 in Santa Cruz. I love to create detailed beadwork in striking color combinations. I design both modern and vintage looks and am always open to creating custom pieces. In addition, some of my seed bead designs can be made to order in other colors.
My original specialty was cabochons with seed bead bezels as the focal with fringe and a beaded rope. I still love making those, but my newest passion is freeform beadwork.
Freeform is a real pleasure to create because I design as I stitch using the beads I’ve chosen for my palette. Of course, every one is unique. I use 6 lb. Fireline fishing line, which makes my work strong and durable.
What’s next for me? More beaded bottles, boxes, and sticks embellished with freeform work using beads and found objects. So many ideas, so little time!
