Emerging artist Chris Aguirre has been creating art since he was kid and began pursing his dream of becoming a professional artist when he was only 15. He has completed over 20 custom painting commissions, is currently the cover artist for the comic book series "Tales from Another World". His passion for characters, his unique style, and his aim to capture a sense of realism has gained him a fascinating and agile growing fan base. Chris has always been highly influenced and inspired by characters in movies, video games, cartoons, anime, comic books, and artists such as Greg Horn, Alex Ross, and Drew Struzan. When he isn't creating his own characters, he creates fan art based on all of his favorite characters. He attended The Academy of Art University of San Francisco and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh for his Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation, and it has always been very important to him to gain as much knowledge about art as he can, so that he can imply new techniques, push the boundaries of his art, and grow as an artist. Chris specializes in oil and digital painting, and focuses on extraordinary people and characters, because he believes that everyone has amazing qualities, individual uniqueness, beauty, mystery and special story to tell.
